The Simple Life
At Vänna Gård in Mossviken, long queues occasionally wind their way through the beautiful Dalslandic landscape. It is a sure sign that it is time for a concert, festival or the annual craft market on the picturesque peninsula in Västra Silen. Johanna and Kristoffer Emanuelsson left the big city life in Gothenburg a few years ago and have in a short time created a popular and well-attended music scene in the countryside, where mainly American and Swedish folk music attracts dancing, foot stamping and applause.
Here, the simple life, proximity to nature, good food and drink, creativity and the meeting between culture and nature are celebrated.
The farm also offers accommodation in cottages and glamping tents, with a wood-fired sauna and hot tub right by the lake. Vänna Gård has become a cultural meeting place in a magnificent rural setting where joy, enthusiasm and fine hospitality welcome visitors.
